The format, and all the elements of Le avventure di Toni Pastello were conceived in order to respond flexibly, quickly and accurately to the needs of a mass communications programme in real time, on matters of current affairs, economy and culture.
The protagonist is Toni Pastello, who is gifted with a disarming mix of candour and common sense. He has the same funny, dazed expression that we have when we heroically try to decipher the complicated comings and goings of the national economic system.
