Chi si ferma è perduto is TIWI and Sky Arte’s new animated series, a collection of impossible interviews and travel reports between reality and imagination, within time and space.
The main characters are artists, authors, scholars, and innovators… special people who have made their mark in history. Led by Neri Marcorè’s questions, these exceptional guests will share their stories and tell about the journey that changed their lives for good: the moment when they got in touch with different cultures, people, and horizons and which contributed to shaping their vision, creativity, and works.
The tireless travelers hosted in our studio throughout the series are Marlene Dietrich, Heinrich Schliemann, Mary Shelley, Howard Phillips Lovecraft, Oscar Niemeyer, Lorenzo da Ponte, and Ludwig Wittgenstein.
Episodes have been illustrated by Gianmarco Veronesi, Valerio Befani, Francesco faccia, Luca Albanese, Giorgio Spalletta, and Fabiana Mascolo. For the soundtrack of this project we’ve chosen some exceptional composers: Rodrigo D’Erasmo, Enrico Gabrielli, Stefano Pilia, Valerio Vigliar, Sebastiano De Gennaro, Alessandro Stefana, Vincenzo Vasi, and Fabio Rondanini.
